I'm a 13 year old girl and I wanted to become a singer ever since I was a little girl, where do I start?

ever since i can remember i have wanted to be a singer.. i sing all the time, practise so much, im hard working and dedicated.. i really want to sing for a living. i write my own stuff, and it means stuff that people can realte to. i really wanna kick off. i live in melbourne, but i cant find any local competitions and stuff. my parents wont let me put stuff on youtube. so how can i kickoff?
