In the movie waynes world , cream of sumyungie?

I watched the movie waynes world and in a Chinese restaurant Wayne asks for the cream of sumyungie. I like trying new foods and have asked for this in many Chinese restaurants and takeaways and they always say they don't sell it and often laugh at me. Is it only chinese restaurants in the USA that do this delicacy?
